Giving Tuesday 2022

After Black Friday and Cyber Monday there’s:

GIVING TUESDAY!

November 29, 2022 – A Global Day of Giving

Donate Now!

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that follows Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year it falls on Tuesday, November 29th and is an opportunity for the community to take a moment in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to celebrate generosity and the gift of giving back.

Each year, the Peninsula SPCA saves nearly 1,000 pets in our community by providing shelter, medical care, and finding forever homes. Adoption fees only cover a small portion of costs when caring for our shelter pets. Medical care is by far the largest expense and can range from vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries to preventative care, medications for illness, prescription foods, special needs and emergency surgeries, heartworm treatments, and even visits to veterinary specialistsIn fact, the Peninsula SPCA spends approximately $100,000 on medical care for shelter pets each year.

This year on Giving Tuesday we are asking for your help to provide much needed medical care for pets who come to us in need.

  • Pets who need vaccinations and medication.
  • Dogs who are heartworm positive and need treatment.
  • Pets who need to be spayed or neutered so that they don’t contribute to our community’s pet population.
  • Pets who have serious, but treatable, medical conditions that require surgery or long-term care.

We are committed to their health and happiness of all animals that come to the Peninsula SPCA, and we need your help to continue to provide this level of care.
