Smokey is a playful 6 year old bully mix boy who was originally adopted from the Peninsula SPCA in 2013. In March of this year, he was surrendered to the PRAS shelter by his owner. He had developed a limp, and his vet determined that he had two torn ACL injuries in his knees that would require surgery to repair.
The two surgical procedures would cost over $4000, but without them Smokey would develop arthritis in his knees and experience increasing pain.
The Peninsula SPCA is determined to find a way to pay for the surgery that Smokey needs, but can’t do it without your help.
