Cooperative Care at the Vet & Groomer

Cooperative Care at the Vet & Groomer

Does your dog LOVE going to see the vet? If so, count yourself one of the lucky few pet parents! More than 75% of dogs show some degree of fear at the vet office. Many pet parents and even veterinarians are not aware of their pets’ fear or how to minimize the stress of these necessary visits. Considering our pets need at least once a year veterinary care, and more frequent depending on their age and health status, that can really begin to contribute to or cause serious health and safety risks.

Cooperative care can help pets and pet parents lower stress of veterinary, and even grooming, appointments. But what does cooperative care mean? Cooperative care is helping your pet learn to participate comfortably with you, your vet, and your groomer for a lower stress and more successful visit.

Join Clever Critters to learn more as we discuss why we choose to focus on cooperative care and adopt a fear free and low stress manner of helping our own and our clients’ pets when it comes to their care and safety.
