When you join our volunteer team, you can make a difference by helping with daily care of the animals, spending one-on-one time with them, taking them out to community events, and matching potential adopters with their pet companions.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

  • Dog Squad: Provide care and love to our canines and help them get adopted! Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Purrr Pals: Provide care and love to our felines and help them get adopted!
  • Barnyard Buddies: Spend time with our barnyard animals, assist with petting zoo activities, and help educate our guests about our barnyard friends.
  • Humane Education: Provide care and love to the Humane Ed pets. Assist with offsite outreach programs and events. Assist with camps if interested.
  • Outreach Events: Assist with the shelter’s events and offsite outreach programs.
  • Yardwork: Mowing, weeding, pruning, etc.
  • Foster Care Providers: Help give our special pets (pets that may be too small, have special needs, or just don’t handle the shelter environment well) a second chance. Fostering saves lives! Click here for more information on signing up to foster.
