Fall 2014 Petting Zoo Sponsorship Auction

Hi friends!

We are the newest animals of the Peninsula SPCA Petting Zoo! We have heard that running a no-kill shelter and saving thousands of animals’ lives each year can be really expensive. Because we have found our forever home here in the barn yard and the cats and dogs still need to find theirs, we want to help raise money for our costs so that the PSPCA staff has one less thing to worry about!

Some of us can cost a few thousand dollars each year, so we really need your help! Our 2014/2015 sponsorships are for November 1, 2014 through October 31, 2015. If you choose to sponsor one (or more!) of us, you get some pretty sweet perks:

  • A wall plaque hung in the petting zoo barn.
  • A framed picture of your sponsored Alpaca.
  • (5) Unlimited free-entry passes to the Peninsula SPCA Petting Zoo during regular business hours, valid for one year.
  • Free petting-zoo party for up to 25 people.
  • Recognition on the PSPCA website and Facebook

Our online auction begins at midnight on Friday, October 10th and ends at 11:59 p.m. on October 27th. Please click here to go to our online auction! We aren’t super tech savvy, being barnyard animals and all, but we think we did a great job.

We got together and wrote our stories for you. We hope you like learning about us! Just like humans, dogs, and cats, we all have our own unique personalities. We were even named really cool names (even though we have no idea what they mean!). We (alpacas) are Moe, Larry, and Curly, and we (donkeys) are Starsky and Hutch. Our humans think our names are funny, but we don’t really get it.
