November 30: Donate new or used holiday decorations to the Peninsula SPCA.
December 1: Bring in an ornament for our tree in honor of your love for animals, 11am-4pm.
December 2: Bring in a bag of pet food and receive one free admission to our petting zoo! Animal feed not included. If the petting zoo happens to be closed, participating guests will receive a ticket for future admission. One package of food = One free ticket.
December 3: Pet Photos with Santa!
December 4: Learn more about our new Kennel Sponsorship Program.
December 5: Shelter guests receive free hot chocolate from 12pm to 3pm.
December 6: In-Store Special – 10% Off Holiday Collars & Leashes!
December 7: Paint a Ceiling Tile Night at Wine and Design. Paint a ceiling tile to decorate our shelter! This is a free-paint opportunity to draw your own design. Starts at 6:30pm. Guests are invited back to the shelter starting the following day to pick the location for their ceiling tile. Half of the proceeds from ticket sales will also be donated to the Peninsula SPCA! December 8: In-Store Special – 10% Off Dr. Pussums Cat Nip Toys!
December 9: Donate pet treats to the shelter animals.
December 10: Purchase a special personalized pet I.D. tag from our online store! Two different shapes: engraved bone or heart.
December 11: Donate bleach or paper towels to the shelter. Bleach and paper towel donation drive is happening all month long!
December 12: Shelter guests receive free hot chocolate from 12pm-3pm, or donate to our Spay & Neuter Fund in honor of Bob Barker’s birthday.
December 13: In-Store Special – BOGO Dog Treats! Buy one get one half off!
December 14: Donate a pet toy to the shelter animals.
December 15: In-Store Special – $5 Holiday Pet Sweaters!
December 16: Bake Sale 12pm-3pm.
December 17: Check out our online Shelter Chic Boutique. 100% of proceeds help animals in need!
December 18: Winter Camp Starts. Half-day winter fun camps where children can spend a few hours with barnyard animals, shelter animals, and humane ed pets. Make holiday crafts and read to the animals! For grades 2-5, from 9am to 12pm. Dates available: December 18-22 and December 27-29. Register here.
December 19: Shelter guests receive free hot chocolate from 12pm-3pm.
December 20: Children read to the animals! Sign-Up required.
December 21: Donate grooming supplies to shelter pets.
December 22: Ask about our adoption gift cards! Not available online. Perfect for a last-minute gift idea!
December 23: Free gift-wrapping services available! Available from 10am to 6pm at the Peninsula SPCA. Donations appreciated.
December 24: Happy Holidays from the Peninsula SPCA!
